Pastor’s Schedule

October Harvest

This October, we’ll be collecting donations for Sutton Nightwatch, a local charity based at Wallington Green that supports people experiencing homelessness and food poverty.

We were proud to support them last year, and the items we donated were deeply appreciated. Many of you will remember the insightful talk they gave at our Contact Club recently—this is a chance to continue that connection and make a tangible difference.

📦 Please bring donations throughout October—there will be a collection point available.

💻 You can also donate funds directly via their website.
Let’s come together again to support this vital work in our community.

Celebrating 150 years…

On Sunday, 25th October, we’ll be marking 150 years of faithful service as the body of Christ in Wallington. It will be a joyful service, celebrating all that God has done through WBC over the generations.

We’ll continue the celebration with a bring-and-share meal after the service — everyone is welcome!

To help us prepare, a sign-up sheet will be available for you to let us know:

•  How many people will be joining for lunch
•  What dish or drink you’ll be bringing to share

Keep an eye out for more details in the coming weeks.

Prayer for Our University Students

As a new academic year begins, let’s lift up all the university students connected to our church family. Whether they’re starting afresh or returning to their studies, we pray for God’s presence to surround them in every step.

Please join us in praying for:

•  Wisdom and clarity in their learning and decision-making
•  Peace and resilience in times of stress or uncertainty
•  Strong friendships and supportive communities
•  Protection and wellbeing, especially for those living away from home
•  A deepening of faith as they navigate new environments and ideas

Let’s also remember their families, who are cheering them on from near and far. May this season be one of growth, joy, and God’s faithful guidance.
