Ladies Contact Club

The Ladies Contact Club (LCC) is open to all ladies from all denominations including ladies with no religious beliefs. At each meeting everybody has an opportunity to share any personal concern or happy events. We are a friendly club giving a warm welcome to all. It is an ideal place to meet friends, make new ones and have a chat over a cup of tea.

The LCC meets in the church hall between 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. on every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month during April to October.

I always start our meetings with notices and prayer for those asked for including the speaker. We then have tea and coffee before handing over the evening to the speaker. We always conclude the evening with an epilogue.

We have had a variety of entertainment evenings including; crafts, quizzes, sharing memories, magic show and a variety of speakers; Diamond Riding Centre, a Trip to China, Ladies Steel Band.

Future evenings will include; Painting Demonstration, History of Beddington Park and a Musical Evening (see Details on the Notice Board in the Vestibule for the full programme).

We sometimes have open evenings when men and families are welcome – we do have one coming up; Black Swan Morris Dancers on 5th September.

In 2025 we will be changing times and dates:it will continue to be the 1st and 3rd Thursday each month but time will be 2 – 4 p.m. from March to October.
